Brewing giant SABMiller have recently concluded a deal that has them taking control of Australian brewery Fosters. South African Breweries became SABMiller in 2002 after acquiring Miller from Philip Morris for $5.6 billion. SABMiller is the worlds second largest brewer, with Anheuser-Busch InBev being the largest.


Fosters has a 50% share of the Australian beer industry.
